Builds
There are different builds. The most comon are PURE(dexterity) and HYBRID.
Pure:
STR: lvl+4 requirement for light armor. (example: lvl 40 -> 44 str) DEX: everything else CON: nothing INT: nothing -> every lvl: 1 str, 4 dex
Hybrid:
STR: lvl+4 requirement for light armor. (example: lvl 40 -> 44 str) DEX: min 3 dex every lvl (to wear best possible weapon) CON: depends on how much u wanna put in dex. INT: nothing -> every lvl: 1 str, 3 dex, 1 con (normal hybrid) -> every 2 lvl: 2 str, 7 dex, 1 con ("half" hybrid) simply every build which puts some points in con is called hybrid. It is not fixed how much u have to put in con. Some ppl even Cap it at a certain amount.
Unusual build:
tank (str + dex for light armor requirement, rest in con -> low dmg but highest HP) heavy armor (wear same lvl LIGHT and "mid" lvl HEAVY armor -> good phyiscal def) magic robe (wear same lvl MAGE armor and "mid" lvl LIGHT armor -> good magic def) different pure (pure which only has str for weapon requirement -> highest dmg/crit but uses lower lvl LIGHT armor)
What is the difference between Hybrid and Pure? Major differences: Pure has more dmg and crit. Hybrid has more HP.
Comparing
pure vs hybrid 4 dex VS 3 dex, 1 con (every lvl)
short (lvl 20- lvl 100): pure: 9-18% more dmg, 1-5 more crit points hybrid: 250 - 1300 more HP
pure vs halfhybrid 8 dex VS 7 dex, 1 con (every 2 lvls)
short (lvl 20- lvl 100): pure: 4-8% more dmg, 1-3 more crit points halfhybrid: 120 - 640 more HP
halfhybrid vs hybrid 7 dex, 1 con VS 6 dex, 2 con (every 2 lvls)
short (lvl 20- lvl 100): halfhybrid: 5-9% more dmg, 0-2 more crit points hybrid: 130 - 650 more HP
Notes:
- Requirement for those tables to be correct: Both wear the SAME Equipment. The equipment has no con/hp/dex bonus and you level mastery when ever possible. - when ATK is increased (better weapon etc) the "% dmg difference" wont change. - when you get additional DEX by equipment, the "% dmg difference" will decrease. - when u get +con or +hp on equip the "absolut HP difference" will be still the same (but the "% HP difference" will decrease) - having more con will get you earlier more %HP - having more dex will not really affect dmg in early lvls. The % dmg you do more increases slowly with the lvl. That is because of the Bowmastery. - every build got +1 str per lvl
Damage Calculate
Dmg = (equip atk + level)*[NewDEX / 100 + mastery] That is the dmg you see, when u open "Character" by pressing the "C"-Button.
equip atk: physical attack of equipment together: rings + arrows + weapon (for min dmg calculation only min dmg of weapon / for max dmg calculation only max dmg of weapon). level: Character level. mastery: 1 + (bowmastery %) / 100. example: example: 60% -> 1,6 | 12% -> 1,12 | 30 % -> 1,3 and so on NewDEX: your DEX*2/3, because every 3rd DEX-Point doesnt affect the dmg. dunno why.. stupid system. example: 150 DEX *2/3 = 100 NewDEX. Rounding is needed by the way: 173 DEX *2/3 = 115,3 = 115 NewDEX. i think you know how to round numbers ^^.
-> every DEX increase your dmg by around +0,67 % of your equip atk (the higher your equip atk, the higher the bonus of one DEX-point) -> Skills seem to work like a normal shot plus a fixed bonus or a percentage bonus of your equip atk (not 100% sure) -> A skill that gives +300% equip atk, doesnĄ¯t mean that you make 4 times the dmg of a normal atk! at high Char-lvl with much DEX, +500% is for example around double dmg "only".
Weapon Choice
For normal attack the weapon with highest damage per second (=dps): DPS = "Attack Frequency" x (min dmg + max dmg) / 2
For skills the one with hightest average dmg (not that sure about this, but it should be true): average dmg = (min dmg + max dmg) / 2
